Our Hilo home health visits office is seeking a COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being.

PART-TIME and PER DIEM opportunities between Honomu-Puna are available.

Responsibilities:

Each COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant must:

  • Have a current State of Hawaii OTA license.

  • Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
  • Have two years of appropriate experience as a COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S.

    Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977, and

  • Have at least one years work experience as a COTA - Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
